The public symbol of being a Devotee
The public symbol of being a Devotee is a gold ring with a red garnet stone which is worn on the little finger of the left hand. Wearing a Devotee Ring is a symbol to both yourself and your partner of your commitment to
be their Princess or Knight, and a reminder of the joys of practicing Devotional Sex with them.
You can also wear a Devotee Ring if you are Devotional Dating, you have a Devotional Friend, or if you are single and have made a personal commitment to follow
the principles of Devotional Sex the next time you are intimate with someone.
Of course this public symbol is optional - not everyone wants
to let others who recognize what the ring means know that they are
a Devotee. And a couple can choose that just the Princess, or just the Knight, wears a Devotee Ring.

There is also an intimate private symbol of a man being a Devotional Knight, and this is presented in Chapter 11 here.
