Chapter 4: Devotional Tantra
Devotional Sex is a combination of two ancient techniques, and one more recent technique.
The
first ancient technique, described in chapter 3,
is the Taoist
Multi-Orgasmic Man technique. With this technique the Knight does not
ejaculate at the end of most sexual sessions (though he many enjoy one
or more non-ejaculatory orgasms).
A
natural consequence of the man not ejaculating is that sexual activity
becomes slower and it often lasts for much longer. This is a first step
towards Tantric Sex.
Tantric Sex is the second ancient technique upon which Devotional Sex is based, and is the subject of this chapter.
Real Tantric practices
Authentic Tantra is a complete philosophy, and is embedded in the culture in which it was developed.
Much better known in the West is the westernized version of Tantric Sex. Real (westernized) Tantric Sex is about getting in touch with yourself using breathing and other techniques, forming a connection with your partner, focusing on the journey of shared sexual pleasure rather than on orgasm, and reaching a higher state
from very long, slow intercourse. (More)
How and why Devotional Tantra is different
Devotional
Tantra is not full Tantric sex (which can take years to master).
Devotional Tantra is mainly just longer, slower, and more sensual sex.
Unlike
Real Tantra, Devotional Sex can include lots of oral sex done in the
same
slow and sensual style. Devotional Tantra is also very different
because with Devotional Sex the Knight has a higher erotic energy due
to him not ejaculating most sessions, and because Princess Power
changes the feel of the dynamic and enables Devotees to also enjoy lots
of non-Tantric fun.
Devotional Tantra has openly taken so many key aspects of real Tantric
sex that it feels appropriate to me to acknowledge this by using the
word 'Tantra' in the title of this chapter.
Devotional
Tantra is perhaps one third of the way towards real Tantric sex. This
is enough for Devotees to feel lots of the joys and pleasures based on
Tantric ideas, but misses out on so much that anyone knowledgeable of
real Tantric sex would rightly say that couples need to go a lot
further to experience real Tantric sex.
Though Devotional Sex has an optional spiritual component (see Chapter 7),
the spiritual parts of real Tantric Sex are not included in Devotional
Tantra. So Devotional Sex can be fully enjoyed and practiced without a
spiritual component. (More)
The principles of Devotional Tantra
Devotional
Tantra is about sophisticating our basic urges. Instead of sexual
activity mainly being about reaching ejaculation (for the male) and
orgasm (for the female), it becomes focused on connection with your
partner, and enjoying each moment. Giving pleasure is now enjoyed as
much as receiving it.
With Devotional Tantra erotic energy and
arousal are enjoyed because it feels good to be this way, and are no
longer just drives to reach Climax (which depletes all erotic energy).
And a Princess, even when she is not aroused, is comfortable about
using her Knight's arousal to enjoy cuddles and sensual pleasures. (More)
How intimate and sensual activities are changed by Devotional Tantra
One of the main benefits of Devotional Sex is the way it enhances intimacy and sensual activities.
This
sections looks at how Devotional Tantra changes cuddles, sensual
activities, and even just ordinary time spent together as a couple. (More)
How sexual activities are changed by Devotional Tantra
When
Devotional Tantra is applied to sexual activities everything becomes
much slower, and there is a focus on each moment of giving and receiving pleasure. Sex becomes more relaxing and sensual.
Though Devotional Tao
enables Devotees to become more orgasmic, Devotional Tantra removes the
focus from having orgasms to enjoying what happens before an orgasm.
Thus Devotees are happy to enjoy some sessions without an orgasm.
This section looks at each sexual activity, and shows how Devotional Tantra works in practice. (More)
