I've only read
The Vacation once - which was when I was formatting it for the webpages and doing some proofreading.
Like Meadow I thought it was erotic and lots of fun
Meadow wrote:My question for myself at the end, was "would I rather be Sophie or Emma? Would I rather be taking Dave home, or taking Jon home?"
I wonder what other Princesses or prospective Princesses will think.
This is a great question - but it is asking the question about other people.
I thought Dave in the story had the recovery power of an 18 year old, and seemed more willing to give oral sex than many men. Though this provided the dynamic Scott wished for his story (and would have made things more challenging for Jon), I thought that the difference between Devotional Sex and 'normal sex' would have been more obvious. How would it feel to the women if Dave had not been as keen to give oral sex? It also would have been a different story if Dave hadn't been able to keep getting fully hard most of the time (which would be the case for many middle-aged or older men).
On the other hand, Jon in the story is, I think, more of a typical Devotional Sex Knight (though him lasting over 18 days would be a bit too much for some men - especially younger Knights).
So rather than thinking of which story character you would prefer to take home, try imagining how the story would go if your partner was put in Dave's or Jon's situation.
How would your partner behave and what would he do if he were Dave? And what do you think it would be like if your partner was your Devotional Sex Knight and was like Jon?
Meadow's question then becomes would you be rather your partner be a Devotional Sex Knight or be 'normal' like Dave? For male readers:Rather than asking whether you would prefer to be Jon or Dave, think of how you would act and what you would be able to do if you were in Dave's situation. And think of what it would be like if you were a Devotional Sex Knight.
The male question is then would you rather be a Devotional Sex Knight or 'normal'?For those new to Devotional Sex it may not be be clear why this story happening in real life would be wonderful for Jon. However for myself and most Knights/men who practice Devotional Sex Jon's constant arousal, and all the play and intimacy which would happen in between the sessions of sex, would, to us, make Jon's experience far better than Dave's.
Please feel free to ask questions here if you want some explanation of why some men would prefer to be Jon.
I've got other views to share about the story, but I'll leave that to other posts.
PS - I guess I've just proved that Scott is a different person from Michael K
