The aim of this book is to change your life.

Perhaps you will just enjoy reading the erotic encounters - it’s fine if this is as far as you go. But rather than being just another erotic fantasy novel the encounters in this book celebrate the real-life joys of couples who discover and live a new sexual technique called Devotional Sex.

Though the book tells the story of just two couples, the encounters are based on the adventures of many real-life couples, and, as truth is often stranger than fiction, an encounter which you might think is unrealistic may have been put into the book because it really happened!

The many conversations in the book will tell you all you need to know to explore Devotional Sex within your relationship. Hence as well as providing an erotic read this is an instructional novel.

Even if you only explore Devotional Sex a few times it will be a shared adventure with your partner. Perhaps you will both decide to enjoy regular Spells of Devotional Sex (as Kali and Adam do at the start of their journey), or perhaps, like Sarah and Will, you will decide to live Devotional Sex.

 
There is great variation with sexual taste and one person’s trash is another’s treasure. So please quickly pass over any activity which is not to your taste, and I hope the book helps you and your partner to discover some treasure!

And whilst there will be some encounters that you will never want to do, the couples in the book may do some things only once which you might want to enjoy often as a regular part of your sex life.

 
This novel is written from the view point of the principal characters to enable you to hear their different perspectives.

The novel is all about what the couples think, feel, and do, but it doesn’t contain the usual descriptions of characters and places. My hope is that this enables you to imagine one of the characters as looking like you, their partner looking like your partner, and their house being like your house.

To keep the book interesting it focuses on their love life (but as it isn’t meant as fantasy things like cooking, working, sleeping, childcare are there in passing). The time line of the novel is fluid. I leave it to you to decide how much time passes between the chapters, though some do follow on immediately after the previous one. 

 
The free (and evolving) website DevotionalSex.com provides a text-book like description of Devotional Sex, and this includes a Forum (the source of some of the encounters in this book).

This novel provides a much better illustration of the joys of real-life Devotional Sex than is possible with the 'technical' explanations of Devotional Sex provided in the rest of the website.
