Real-Life Devotional Sex
Devotional Sex Surveys
Though most people who practice Devotional Sex are reluctant to post on the Forum about their sex lives, many are happy to share what they do by filling out my anonymous surveys.
With hundreds of replies to some of these surveys I now have a good
picture of what happens in real-life Devotional Sex. I'm sure you will
be surprised by some of the results - I was!
This section presents some of the results and provides links to the
surveys so that those practicing Devotional Sex can contribute.
The accuracy of the survey results is discussed at the bottom of this page.
Over time I'll keep adding more and more of the survey results. Major updates will be announced at the What's New page.
The Surveys & Results
Most of the results are presented
separately for those who Live Devotional Sex (ie they always do it) and
those who Sometimes do it (ie they have times when he is not her
Knight).
The Sometimes group includes many couples who are new to Devotional Sex, and this is probably the main reason why there is often such a big difference between the two groups.
What Happens in Bed?
When Living or doing a long Stretch
of Devotional Sex there are 7 times each week when the Devotee cople
wake up together and 7 bedtimes. That's 14 opportunities each week for
some Devotional activities!
This survey finds out what happens during those 14 opportunities within real-life Devotional Sex.
More responses are needed to build up an accurate picture.
Before you do so please read the results so far so that you know how to
fill it in correctly. The link to the survey is at the bottom of the
results page.
Comparing before and after Devotional Sex
This
survey compares and contrasts couples sex lives before doing Devotional
Sex with what happens when doing Devotional Sex. It also aims to find
out how often a Knight is erect when doing Devotional Sex.
More responses are needed to build up a more accurate picture,
so if you do Devotional Sex please do this survey.
Affection before and after Devotional Sex
This
survey looks at affectionate activities - holding hands, cuddling in
bed, cuddling outside the bedroom, giving massages, passionate kissing,
and him kissing her body. It asks how often each is done both before
starting Devotional Sex and after.
It then asks how important these activities are compared to the sexual pleasures of Devotional Sex.
And finally it looks at some sexual activities and asks what balance there is between these being sexual and affectionate.
More responses are needed to build up a more accurate picture,
so if you do Devotional Sex please do this survey.
Oral Sex within Devotional Sex
This
survey fully explores how often oral sex is enjoyed by Devotee couples
and how they both feel about this. The frequency of oral sex is
compared to how often couples enjoy Joy.
It also looks at what happens when sexual activity ends and whether or
not the Knight feels just intimacy and connection or if he feels
frustrated.
And this was my first survey to ask about the Princess and her Knights overall satisfaction.
Orgasm Survey
This
survey looks at how often Princesses and Knights orgasm, how this
happens, how this compares with what happened before Devotional Sex, and more.
One interesting new questions is what he and she thinks is the biggest benefit from doing Devotional Sex.
Affirmation
Affirmation is when a Devotee couple spend some time together with him naked (and at least sometimes aroused) and her dressed.
This survey looks at how often couples do this, what happens when they
do, whether or not they ever do this outside, and if they have ever
done this, or would like to do this, with others present.
This is the shortest survey so is
very easy to fill in. It is good to hear from Devotee couples who do
not do Affirmation as well.
Your Progress with Devotional Sex Survey
This
survey enables you to anonymously let me know that you
have reached a new step forward in your practice of Devotional Sex.
This website is free and has no advertising, so my one reward for
writing this is to know that couples are enjoying Devotional Sex. So if
you don't do any of the above surveys, please do this short survey
whenever you make a step forward.
How accurate are the results?
Sex
researches have found that people are often a bit more honest filling
in a poll than when talking to a researcher either face-to-face or over
the phone. So the individual responses may in fact be more accurate
than if a face-to-face interview had been done.
I'm sure that the vast
majority of responses are filled in with good intentions. But,
unfortunately, some are filled in fairly quickly and so some have a few
inconsistencies. My hope is that the inconsistencies average out
with lots of responses.
The two most likely biases are that those who are more sexually active may be
more likely to fill in a survey, and I suspect that older Devotees are more
likely to spend the time filling out a long survey than younger Devotees.
The exact figures don't matter
The exact figures will change as I
get more survey responses. But what is unlikely to change is the big
picture of what the results show.
That 5% of the couples living Devotional Sex who have filled out the Oral Sex Survey have Joy
once a day or more tells us that just a few couples have Joy this
often. If the true figure is 3% or 8% the big picture doesn't change.
That, so far, 21% have said they
don't have Joy at all was, at least for me, a big surprise. Even if the
true figure is say only 10% the key point is that there are some
couples who have a great Devotional Sex life without doing Joy at all.
Thus the big picture view is very likely to be an accurate overview of how couples are enjoying Devotional Sex in real-life.
