Energized

This is one of his twelve erotic energy states which are part of Devotional Sex.


 
With Vanilla Sex him having high erotic energy without feeling he is just about to ejaculate requires him to stay just below Edging. This means that to keep control he has to always be careful not to move up into Edging. Him staying in control means holding back.

If he is just below Edging and he decides he wants to Climax he can very quickly an easily increase his energy and Climax.
  
 
The Energized state is when his energy builds without him ever feeling he is about to ejaculate and thus he always remains in control and won't accidentally Climax.

So if his Princess says "Release" when he is Energized, rather than being able to go straight to Edging and then Climaxing he first needs to mentally change gears to move across to Edging, and this can take 30 seconds or even longer.

So when Energized a Knight can't quickly ejaculate even if he wants to do this.

It takes some practice, and perhaps requires him to learn to circulate his energy, for being Energized to become a different state from being just below Edging. Once learned, the energy of being fully Energized increases so that it is the same as, or even higher than, the energy of Edging.


Even after spending some time fully Energized an experienced Knight can easily direct this energy into Exaltation and then Adoration and thus not feel any frustration when sex ends without him Climaxing.
  
 
With Edging a woman has to pay attention to what she is doing so that she keeps him stimulated enough to remain in the Edging state but doesn't push him over the edge.

Of course this is great fun for her to do when she wants to put in the effort. But when she isn't keen to do this then Edging him can feel like too much work. Thus, for most vanilla couples, a longish session of Edging him doesn't happen very often.

But when he is Energized she won't accidentally make him ejaculate so she can now active play with him without having to be careful not to push him over the edge.

And when a Knight has learned to control his energy he can bring himself up to the Energized state even from just from a Devotional Cuddle or her giving him some gently play (ie she doesn't have to work to get him there).

With it so easy for a Knight to be fully Energized without her needing to do the 'work' of Edging, Devotional Sex enables a man to enjoy the energy of Edging as a fairly normal part of sexual activity.
  
 
When Energized a Knight is always in control.

Being in control means that he isn't close to accidentally ejaculating and he is always able to change his energy state (eg to Exaltation or Adoration) and thus lower his energy.

So him being in control doesn't mean he has to always be calm. In fact both may enjoy him sometimes being desperate.

If him feeling desperate is like a plane being in a dive, then out-of-control desperation is like a plane going into an uncontrolled dive. But desperation when Energized is the pilot putting the plane into a dive while always retaining enough control to be able to bring the plane out of the dive whenever he wishes.

A Princess can thus allow or even encourage her Knight to be desperate for a while, and when she has had enough she only needs to say "be Calm" and he will start to calm his energy.

At the other extreme he can feel very calm and serene when highly Energized (which creates a Tantric like dynamic).

Perhaps him being desperate and highly Energized is unique to Devotional Sex. But a calm and serene highly Energized Knight is enjoying something which is also a part of Tantra and Tao.

Of course there is a continuum between him feeling desperate and him feeling calm and serene, and even in the one session he may move up and down this continuum according to how he wants to feel and what his Princess wishes.
